I thought this book was really insightful. I have heard about a condition where you can have migraines constantly. But I never really knew anything about it other than that maybe someone could just have headaches a lot. After reading this book it's really opened my eyes that it's a real condition that can affect one's life not only physically but mentally as well. After reading this book it makes me feel grateful that whenever I get a migraine myself that I know it will be gone the next day.
What I especially liked about it was the positive approach to it all. The author shows a great determination to not only learn and discover more about her own condition, but is active about coping with it as well. The diet part was very interesting as well.
Another thing I appreciated about this book was that it wasn't overwhelming at all. It's spoken from the perception of someone who lives with this condition from the day to day and is very down to earth.
Great read!

Through the Eye of Migraine Stefanie M Davis 9781491010204 Books Reviews
Stephanie did a great job explaining the migraine experience. And great suggestion on food triggers, journaled. I've had migraines 30 yrs. her book helped me!
It helps to know I'm not alone in the way I feel - not just physically, but the emotional side as well. Not many books cover the emotional issues one deals with in migraines. It was so nice to read my feelings, issues, and thoughts from another person.
A nice introduction to what it is like for one sufferer of Migraine, including diet, meds, hospital visits etc. Not a self-help book, more of a memoir.
Book is half decent at most - spelling and grammatical errors make for a crappy read and wears the reader out.
This is a horrible, poorly written tiny book.
Despite the fact that our family histories are dissimilar, the author and I (sadly) share a too similar experience in our journey through the rollercoaster of chronic migraine. Ms. Davis has vividly shared what too many of us have experienced, and this book is a great (and quick!) read for anyone dealing with it. I will be recommending it to my loved ones as well, as I know no better way to explain my journey. Thank you for sharing yours, and please write again as you continue through your trials (hopefully with long-term positive results.)
